Preserve more than the recipe—preserve the handwriting, the memories, and the person behind it.

I created the Recipe Remembered Board as a way to turn a treasured family recipe into something that can be displayed, gifted, and passed down for generations.

Using a clear photo or scan of the original handwritten recipe, I carefully prepare the handwriting for engraving while preserving the little details, imperfections, and personality that make it special. The original handwriting is then permanently laser engraved into a handcrafted solid hardwood cutting board.

The engraved side is designed to showcase the recipe and preserve its meaning, while the reverse side can still be used as a functional cutting surface. Display the engraved side when not in use, then flip the board over when you need a functional cutting surface.

I don’t simply retype the recipe in a standard font. I work directly from the original handwriting, so the finished board still feels connected to the person who wrote it.

How It Works

Select your preferred hardwood and board size.

2. Upload your handwritten recipe
Upload a clear photo or scan of the original recipe before adding your board to cart.

3. Approve your design
Your handwriting is carefully prepared for engraving and a digital proof is provided for approval before your board is engraved.

4. Your board is handcrafted
Once the design is approved, your Recipe Remembered Board is engraved, finished, and prepared for pickup or shipping.
